LA DOLCE VITA

Life very rarely turns and asks you what you want. The usual scenario includes a lot of falling and making mistakes, several wrong turns and one or two heart breaks. When you feel you know what you want, you make a turn and realize that you are not where you initially planned. When you are sure you are in control, the world empties beneath your feet and you find yourself falling through a pit of doubt taking you right to where you started and maybe, even further back.

Trying to battle this reality is like trying to push the Pisa Tower upright….many have tried and still today…it remains bent.

However, take a deep breath and step back. Look at the masterpiece before you. The perfection of imperfection lies standing, never upright but always bold.

It seems it is trying to make a statement.

“I dare you to break me”

We are more beautiful because we have come from where we have come. We have scars on our faces, our hands and our expressions. These scars make us human. These scars are proof that we can feel.

We are alive.

We must make mistakes to write our story because then again….who likes a tale with no drama?
