Today I want to take you somewhere safe. Somewhere soft and cozy where only beautiful feelings are welcome. Today is a day to feel fine embracing the essence of spring and the merry color that this season brings. Today we go back to when everything had no meaning and us girls just lived to play and have fun, letting our spirits roam free and our minds go wild.

Today we wake up to a pastel-toned world where everything we see is sprayed in pale blue, baby pink and soft yellow, we are princesses in our little make-belief world and nothing can go wrong because we are in charge and we are led only and exclusively by our own imaginations.

This time, Adriana and I decided to take a new turn to our usual symmetric and cold experimental lines. This time we embarked on a new journey with two new brands that fit perfectly with the ambiance we wanted to create. Pepa Salazar is a new Spanish up and coming designer who loves to experiment with vibrant colors and odd forms in the shapes of dresses and shoes. She has already been part of several fashion show extravaganzas and is famous for the use of water and paint to make her innovative statements. On the other hand we have Caquilala that comes from a more “doll-like” inspiration. I came across this brand while strolling through the Mercado de Diseño in el Matadero in Madrid. It was love at first sight and soon after discovering them, they became the focus of one of our editorials.

I also invite you to take a peek at the following fashion film that embodies a critical point of view toward the mod-version of the “today” blogger scene. Tis’ very amusing I care to admit.
