“For a split second you know it, you know the words that are going to come out and your self-conscious blocks sound so the meaning echoes in your mind even though you never heard the words.
I don’t even know if I believe what you are trying to say to me. I understand the phrase but I am sure this is not what you are trying to say. I know I don’t want to believe what you are trying to say to me. Please open my eyes and tell me I’m alive because I feel I just died and all that is left is the burn in my inside.
I put on a straight face but find it hard to breath and for a moment it feels easier to just let go and disappear. All these shocks of emotion making the body shiver and heat at the same time.
How is it possible that we can be so human when we are made from dust. Despite the pain, it is hard not the find such flood of feelings magical. This is what truly makes us feel alive.”
When Adriana came to me asking if I wished to take part in the portrayal of a different kind of EDIT, as per usual, I was excited. This time, we took on a chocolate coloured electronic music singer named John Grvy.
The first selection is Analog photography with the corresponding digital composition in the tiled sequence below.
I hope you enjoy the images.
